Lynn Giuliani of Progressions first began working with Horizon Bank in early 1995, and helped design and introduce bank-wide service standards. In 1996 I began working closely with Lynn to introduce a sales and service culture along with creating a formalized training department. As a small community bank we had a strong reputation for great customer service, but had yet to add a sales focus.

Lynn was instrumental in changing our monthly corporate meetings from a strictly operational focus to one that emphasized sales and service efforts and results. Lynn assisted me with course design and content as I undertook the task of educating all employees throughout the bank about our products and services.

Lynn's strong sales background, effective leadership, and superior communications skills were invaluable in this process. Lynn epitomizes professionalism, always dependable, committed, and effective in her role. Most recently Lynn partnered with us to plan quarterly business forums for Retail Sales staff with a focus on outside business development activities, behaviors, and accountabilities, which she then facilitated. These meetings were targeted to Office Managers along with Commercial Lenders and Personal Bankers. Among the activities were interviewing and profiling customers to learn about and address their financial needs. These behaviors and activities have raised the sales aptitude and focus at Horizon Bank, positioning us well for the future.
